Raegan is so cute!

The other day I was toting the baby around in my sling and before I knew it Raegan had her baby in her sling and was helping me out around the house.

Hop on the next plane

and come back ASAP please!

We had such a fun visit from my sisters Heather and Jana and their boys Luke & Dallas.

We squeezed lots of activities in for the kids...the zoo, the park and the pool.

Paul was a trooper and watched all the kids (minus Morgan) so we could go out just the girls...what a treat!

One night we had a a little pre-Birthday Party for all the kids since all of their birthdays are coming up in the next couple of months. They got to decorate cupcakes and each blow out candles while we sang happy birthday.

It was so fun to have all of the cousins together, I really do mean it when I say come back

I'm happy today...

Why you ask?

...because I'm about to run out the door with my kids and pick up 2 of my sisters and their cute kids at the airport and we get to play, party and play some more all week!

(we will miss you Stac...but yaay, I get to see you next weekend)

Double Whammy!!

Last week I packed my 2 girls in the car and headed up to Phoenix to visit my cousin and hit a birthday party in a little daytrip...

I am so glad that I finally got to meet my cousin's new addition, Summer. She is so adorable and so so tiny. She only weighed

4 lb 13 oz when she was born and is still so little...Morgan looked really gi-normous next to her.

We also got to go to Raegans friend, Dallas birthday party while we were up that way. Mary goes all out for birthdays...it was a p-a-r-t-y!!

Morgan was a party pooper and pretty much did this the whole time :)

And of course... The Moms havin' some fun at the party too!!

Squeezin' It All In...

So we decided to hop in the car and head to Utah before Paul had to start work back up. It was the perfect oppurtunity to get to enjoy the Fall in Utah and show off Morgan.

Yes we have been back for a week and yes I am just getting to posting this. I don't know what my deal is, this is when I should be blogging blogging blogging but somehow my days are just disappearing on me. I promise to be better.

A big part of why we decided to head to Utah was because Pauls sister was due to have her baby. I started to get a little worried when she passed her due date and we were heading home in a few days. But thankfully she came before we went home and we got to meet the newest Cannon addition Cylie. She is adorable!

We were so grateful that they were in Utah also, so that they could meet Morgan for the first time.

I'm so glad my friend, Jean squeezed me in. I have been itchin' to meet her baby Crew. He is so sweet and it was fun to do some catch up with Jean.

My mom, sisters and I got to meet up with my Aunt and cousins at one of my favs Pizza Factory. Yum Food and good company!

My dad has season tickets for BYU football and took Brig and Paul with him. BRIG LOVED IT!! Seriously all of a sudden Brig loves the "COUGARS" and Paul has been such a great sport. Even though he is all about the Utes, he thought the Cougars were so cool when he was a kid too. He even decked Brig out in BYU gear and wore a BYU shirt himself. WOW, thats huge. They had a blast, I'm thinkin' this might need to become a yearly tradition.

We also got to visit with some good friends the Okerlunds (and their cute kid Cannon, our namesake :), a Girls Night Out with my mom taking a cooking class, lots of Cousin Play Time, the beautiful Utah Fall Weather, some shopping with the girls, and got to eat at some our favorite Utah Joints.

It was a fun, spontaneous trip and now we are home and back to life.

Dear Hubby,

I miss you today. I got to have you home for 6 weeks (paternity leave) and today you went back to work. I miss you. I love you.

A Little Detour...

We are in Utah as we speak and decided to detour in Phoenix for a get together with some Tucson Buddies! We had a great time catching up, introducing Morgan to new buddies, seeing Mary's beautiful home, eating some tasty Cafe Rio (what I would give for that joint to be in Tucson), reminiscing and letting the kids run wild together.

Good Times!

A little of this, a little of that...

Wow...I am seriously behind!
So here is a little recap of the last few weeks...

The last 3 weeks have mostly consisted of holding, loving and staring at our new addition.
She is such a sweetheart!

Brig got to spend some quality time with dad going dove hunting!

Raegan had her first tap and ballet dance recital! The little girls were so cute, in the ballet dance they were in a circle holding hands at one part and they were all giggling...definitely the highlight of the night. (there is a video at the very bottom of the post)

Raegan is a crack up...these are her wearing her "gloves" and notice her "matching flip flops"

She doesn't seem to be phased by the heat here, in fact she is usually seen sporting around in winter clothes with a pair or two of socks on her feet and some on her hands to be her gloves.

Brig is a goof too...the other day he told Paul he wanted to dress up as a clown.

So this is what they came up with...I love it!

Brig started soccer this week! They are the Orange Jaguars, and Brig was HILARIOUS! The first half of the game he was running around the field ROARING like a Jaguar. By the second half he got more focused and competitive. This is going to be an entertaining season.

We had our ANNUAL "Happy Kids Day!"

The kids woke up to pancakes for breakfast, got to go to Monkey Business that night and then topped the night off in our PJs watching a movie and eating popcorn!!

Brig hunting! Yep he got a moose and looks super proud. This kid clearly is Paul's kid ;)

Last but NOT least, we had my mom and dad here for the new baby!

Seriously, we are so lucky to have them.
My mom came as soon as the baby was born and stayed for 9 days, and my dad came out for the weekend too. It was so fun to have them here to meet Morgan and play with Brig and Morgan. It was also so great to have my mom cooking and cleaning and doing EVERYTHING you can possibly imagine to help out (we even squeezed in lunch and a little shopping outing). And my dad fixed my computer and got my wireless internet working...seriously they are such great guests :)

When they left I cried and cried, it was so great to have them and this the first baby I have had not living close to them. I am so grateful that they will be coming back out next month for another visit.

I'm in LoVe...

I am grateful for my little Morgan, and her sweet spirit that she has brought into our home
I never bore of kissing her and can cuddle her all day long

I adore her precious little toes, fingers and ears

I fall more in love everytime that she gets the hiccups or smiles (I know its just gas, but still adorable)

I cannot believe how patient, sweet and easy she is

I will forever love that she came 3 1/2 weeks early and took me out of my misery

I am grateful for her patience with her brother and sister who are absolutely head over heels for her

I love the look in Paul's eyes when he picks her up

I love hearing my kids giggle when she burps or makes "other" such sounds

I love taking a nap with her curled up on my chest

I love how much she looks like her sister

I wonder how I will ever get anything done because all I want to do is stare at her for hours on end

I love her dark hair and how it sticks straight up after she has a bath

I love how she smells

I love how she belongs with us and is meant to be in our family
