Swim Lessons

Living in Tucson, the community pool has become our 2nd home this summer.

So we thought it best to get Brig into some swim lessons.

He loves the water...jumping in, diving in, swimming like a polar bear, a shark or whatever animal he is feelin' that day!

Some of the stuff they did in class was learn the monkey crawl on the side of the pool, climbing out of the pool, blowing bubbles, kicking, floating and going under the water!

He even got to take lessons with some of his friends!

Raegan had to keep herself busy while Brig had lessons. She found much entertainment in Mommies sunglasses

Playing with her friend Riley...and of course lots of snacks!

The last day of swim lessons they let the kids play...

& Raegan decided to join in fully clothed & all!

She loved it!

So did Brig!

At the end of the 2 weeks, Brig got a certificate of achievement from his teacher (who he loved, bc the teacher caught on to Brig fast and called him a polar bear the whole time).

Good Job Brig!

First In Line!

I camped out with my friend, Jeannie

for Pre-School Registration!

I know it sounds a little crazy

but this preschool is awesome and a steal of a deal

& always fills up Fast!

We got there at 1:30...yes, in the morning

and started the waiting for the doors to open at 8 am!

We were the 1st in Line!

It was a little scary out there in the middle of the night,

so we spent some of the night in the car!

Every All-Nighter needs lots of drinks & snacks...Jean came prepared!

And around 5 we had to make a potty & snack stop at the local Chevron (didn't mean to take it in front of the Beer sign...accident )!

Later in the morning we were joined by Lisa, Errica & Jenny!

At 8 am the doors were finally opened...and it was quite chaotic. But we finally got them all signed up and ready to start August 13th!

All though we were delirious by the end of the night...it was FUN!

Girls Trip!

Me, My Mom & My Sisters just got back from our

Girls Trip!

We had such a blast in L.A.

We stayed in Hollywood, went shopping, ate lots of yummy food & saw the Broadway Play "Wicked"!

The only bummer part of the whole trip was saying G'bye so quick...but Lake Powell is just around the bend!

Here we all are at the Pantages Theatre, very excited for the show!

Wicked was incredible...the music, the costumes, the actors and the comedy!

(Even the loud laughing guy behind us is now a good memory)!

We spent Saturday in Hollywood shopping and having a good 'ol time!

It was Heather's B-Day on Saturday & we celebrated at a delicious Italian restaraunt!

We also missed Father's Day on Sunday...sorry to all the Daddys!

This was near the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

I loved it because my Dad has called me "CeCe" as a nickname since I was a little girl, and if you know my dad you know that nicknames morph over time into every possible thing you can imagine. Well over time my nickname "CeCe" became Cecille B. deMille.

We had such a fun trip.

It was great to see all of you girls!

My Lil' Sis Stacie is so creative! She is the "Queen Bee" of Sewing,

she really is so talented (a talent that I unfortunately do NOT have)

Now she uses her amazing talent sewing dance costumes as her student job at BYU Idaho.

But she started sewing young and when she was probably 12 or so she even taught classes in the summer to younger girls in the neighborhood.

She can sew anything that she wants without even using a pattern.

Some of her creations have been:

swimsuits, blankets, skirts, altering the HUGEST clothes ever from D.I. to fit her tiny little frame and many more projects!

When I got married she made us a rag quilt,

when I had Brigham she made him a darling outfit,

and when I had Raegan she made her a handmade chenille blanket.

The latest gift I have received is this AMAZING bag that she made for me for my birthday!

Isn't it the cutest thing?

A Family Outing!

Memorial Day we took a Family Outing to the Zoo!

Brig was so excited the BEAR was right by the window!

Not so sure about that Elephant!

Whenever we have something fun planned for the day Brig

usually askes Daddy to come with us

& is always disappointed when Daddy says he has to go to work!

So today was extra special because Daddy got to come along this time!

We started the day off early but it still managed

to get pretty HOT!

We had a great time &

topped the day off by stopping by In-N-Out for a Milkshake!
