"Candidate Match Game"

2 things got this post in the works for me. I received my Primary Ballot in the mail today (I think it is so great I could request it by mail, and I don't have to go wait in line with 2 little kids) and my sister-in-law posted a link to "Candidate Match Game" where you answer 11 questions and it tells you which candidates are most compatible with your political beliefs.

My answers were a really SHOCKER...just kidding, it's pretty much right on.

1. Mitt Romney (and NOT just bc he's Mormon)

2. Fred Thompson (ok, honestly don't Love or Hate the guy, but it doesn't matter bc he dropped out)

3. John McCain

An Example To Live By...

President Gordon B. Hinckley of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints passed away Sunday. I want to acknowledge what a good life he led and what a good example he was to all of us. I am so grateful to have had him as a prophet of our church during my lifetime. He was such a spiritual, and fun loving man who always brought a smile to my face.

It is sad to lose such a great man, but we know that he is in a better place and lived an examplary life. Our love goes out to his family.

"No Girls Allowed"

Paul has really been wanting to take Brig camping, but I have been worried that it might be too cold in the middle of the night for Brig. So Friday night Paul gets home from work and starts packing up the camping gear and heading into the backyard. Yep...the boys camped in the backyard. and of course, they had a blast!

Brig informed me that "girls DON'T sleep in tents" so I got to sleep inside (but he did let me roast marshmallows with them).

Paul is such a great Dad, they both had a blast...backyard, and all!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

While we were in Utah we took the kids sledding! My Dad (Pa) was so excited and got sleds and everything before we came out. So after the long ordeal of getting them all bundled up (that part I don't miss in Utah) we headed out. It was so much fun! Brig caught on quick, and before we knew it he was running up the hill with his sled and riding down the hill and then heading back up. Raegan took a little more coaching, but once she realized how fun it was she would go down all by herself too.
Our trip to Utah was so fun, but as you can tell from the pictures it was pretty cold. We were sad to leave, but we welcomed the "Not So Cold" weather of Arizona when we got home!
But we do MISS you all so much!

A Very Special Day!

Raegan turned 2 on Dec 30th!
Raegan is such a sweet little girl, I love watching her be herself. She is still so little yet her personality is so BIG. She is funny, darling, girly, smart and I love her so much. She has brought such a fun side in each member of our little family. She has shown us what a great big brother Brigham is, she has Paul wrapped around her little finger (which he'll deny) and shows the soft side of him, and as for me I love having my little girl to do girly things with!

We were also so lucky to be able to be at Dallas' Baby Blessing (which happened to be the same day)! He is such a sweetheart and is so stinkin' cute! Seriously, I held him at every chance I got. Thanks J for sharing him with me so much.

A Milestone.....

I just noticed that this is officially my

100th Post!

Yaay! This may sound corny but I have really found blogging to be fun and relaxing! It is not only my form of a Journal but it has also got me back into scrapbooking (that is Digital Scrapbooking, of course)! Not to mention, that I LOVE love LOVE looking at all of your blogs to keep on the up and up with your families!!

Anyways, now I'll get back to some posts from our trip to Utah. But I thought it worthy to acknowledge the 100th post!

We're Back!

We are Back from our Trip to Utah...and it was so much fun! And I have lots and lots to BLOG with Christmas and our trip! So make sure to scroll down to see all our Christmas fun (I'll post our trip later)!

A few days before Christmas, Paul was goofing around on his guitar playing

"Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer"

and said "We should go Christmas Caroling!"

I'm pretty sure he was joking, but I thought it was a FANTASTIC idea, so we got bundled up, I even talked Paul into bringing his guitar along, and off we went....

And in true Cannon Fashion, we stuck to singing "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer"!

It was so much fun, I think it is going to be a new tradition for our family!

Christmas Eve!

We spent Christmas Eve with Paul's brother, Matt and his Family!

We are so lucky to have some family still near us.
Matt made a delicious Dutch Oven Roast & Potato dinner, and then we got the kids all dressed up to do the Christmas Nativity. It was so great. Brig was Joseph, Audrey was Mary, Blake was a Wiseman, Jackson was a Shepherd and Raegan was the Angel!

It was so neat, the kids really got into it, and watching the kids all gathered around the manger looking at Baby Jesus was a perfect way to feel the Christmas Spirit.

Afterwards we decorated cookies for Santa, went to see some fun Christmas Lights and then headed to our house to open our "Tradition" of Christmas Eve Pjs, set the cookies and milk out for Santa, put the kids to bed and watched "The Christmas Story" (never fails to be Hilarious) and then headed off to bed!

Yipee...It's FINALLY Christmas!

Christmas this year was so much fun!!
Brig & Raegan were the perfect age, they both were so excited and Paul and I had a great time just watching their excitement.

Brig was ecstatic about EVERYTHING he opened,

and Raegan wanted to wear EVERYTHING that she got!
