Yep...I am officially a dork!

So the other night at Enrichment, our ward was showing a slideshow and needed a laptop so they could show it. So I brought mine for them to use, after it was over I was being teased by the man who was running the slide show for having a few Backstreet Boys songs on my computer.

Yes...I am a dork!

So anyways, that got a conversation started with some friends about old music that we used to listen to and I admitted that I went to both the

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Seriously these days...Ninja Turtles, My Little Pony, Transformers, Cabbage Patch Dolls!

The list goes on and on, everything from my childhood is back and going strong!

It's fun and it makes me feel young AGAIN!

His favorite Ninja Turtle is Raphael, so Paul helped out with the playtime by making this mask out of an old t-shirt!

(And yes...of course, If "Big Brother" is doing it, Raegan wants to join in)

Brig has the greatest imagination, it is always fun for me to see what he comes up with!

A Visit from Ganny & Pop!

My Granny & Pop

came to visit us last week.

Granny had her 50th High School Reunion in Manassa, Colorado and they were so sweet to detour on their way home to California to see us.

We had such a great time visiting with them and the kids were thrilled to have

"Granny & Pop" at their house!

Brig loved playing with Pop and even got him to play Ninja Turtles with him.

After they went home Brig told Paul

"Pop is Cool!"

Pop must have payed really close attention to what the kids are interested in and like to play because the morning they left Grnny & Pop surprised Brig with
Raphael, the Ninja Turtle

...and Raegan with a toy puppy!

We had a GREAT time having you at our house!

My Little Gal!

I'm a Big Girl!

I love having my little girl!

It brings me back to being a little girl myself and all the fun stuff little girls like to do!

So when Brig took a long nap this afternoon, Raegan and I spent the afternoon doing all the

"girl stuff"

I used to love to do!

First we played dressup...

Then we painted her toenails & fingernails

She loved it, she sat perfectly still the entire time!

Then we played "house"

she was the mommy of course!

I'm A Big Kid Now!!

Yesterday was a BIG day for Brigham...

The 1st Day of Preschool!

He has been excited for weeks to start school and "play with his friends"!

Raegan on the other hand NOT so excited for her "playpal" and Big Brother

to be away for 2 mornings every week!

Really they play so well together...

and love eachother so so much!

But as you can see he is READY TO GO!

Dad was so proud of his "Little Man"

And so was Mom, but it is a little bittersweet.

He is so excited and likes to have something to do everyday and is ready to get learning,

but he's "My Little Boy" and I will miss him

(but I am sure I will have no problem finding plenty of errands to run and chores to do with only 1 kid to bring along)

Raegan loved preschool too, and wished she got to stay!

Our Visit with "Aunt Stace"

"A Sister is a FOREVER Friend"

My sister Stacie came to visit us, and we had such a good time.

The kids had a blast playing with her and were both so sad to see her go home.

When we got to the airport Brig declared "I'm Going To Utah Too!" & as after she left Raegan kept saying "A Kiss"!

Projects! Projects! Projects!

While Stacie was here we kept busy doing lots of fun projects.

She is so talented at sewing that she helped me make curtains for my kitchen.

She is amazing I told her what I had in mind, and she just figured it all out.

She also helped me make one of her fabulous purses and we made scripture bags.

She is such a trooper she comes out for a visit and we put her to work, no really she kept telling me she wanted to and that she loves to do this kind of stuff.

But we did make her some jewelry to take home!

Oh Stacie...we already miss you.
